 SHERRIE 'SUBIC BAY'

Sherrie has been with my since she was the age of 7yr and this year in 2008 she will be 32yr old.  She was the perfect pony teaching me to ride and we learnt alot together I owe it it all!  At the age of 9yr she got 'Navicular Disease' and has been on numerous medication over the years as a result of this.  For the last 3yr we decided to do a few veteran classes for abit of fun and came 1st in ridden and in hand and all shows we went to. In 2006 we qualified for the Veteran regional finals, however at the finals Sherrie was starting to not be as perky and enthusiastic about the whole thing and she was starting to loose condition and not look as good as she had in the past and we came 4th in each class.  Upon my purchase of an Equissage machine in 2007 I decided to use this on her and eventually weened her off her medication.  The judges were amazed at the difference it had made to her shape, well being, and attitude and this year we were reserve champions at the Regional Qualifiers.

Thank you Sherrie and thank you Equissage for giving her back a better quality of life.

 AMBER

Poor Amber has had a very hard life being rescued by the RSPCA as a 3yr old, she was then diagnosed with kissing spine.  We had the operation done and it was very successful by Young Proctor and Wainwright vets.  The Equissage was great for her circulation whilst on box rest, sorted out her Lymphangitis and helped speed up the healing time after her operation.  Using the hand unit on the area it helped to move away any debris and increase the blood flow to the area to heal quicker.

After problems with sarcoids and then the diagnoses of Lupos (a form of cancer) I had to make the decision to end it all for her.  God bless you Amber!

FRANLEYCO BLUE TACO

33iNCH Blue roan 'Taco' thinks he is 18hh. He taught my daughter Emily to ride but often would forget she was on and either shake her off but leave her wellies in the stirrups or have a roll. We used to try and do fun rodes but if the grass was too long for his little legs we would have to carry him and Emily!  He can have a slight undeveloped neck so I use the Equissage hand unit on it to help build the muscle up.  The Equissage mini pad is put on him regularly just to keep him in good condition and health, because it can help increase trot speed, hock flexion and stride length its great for use before the show ring.

LITTLE TOM THUMB

What a little cracker he is at 34inch proudest little pony you will ever see, Definatly thinks and moves like a stallion.  Tried as a riding pony but to hyper and too small for me to ride and keep in check.  He has laminitis so I use the Equissage back pad on him to keep him healthy and circulation moving around when his laminitis keeps him rarther mobile.  I also use the hand unit and tendon boot on each leg a couple of times a day for ten minutes to help increase the blood flow and bring down any inflammation.

 PRYSE PICASSO

34INCH Skewbald gelding. Unfortunatly he was diagnosed as having a twisted stifle as a yearling so he was castrated immediately.  Such a shame as a very proud and good looking little fellow.  He is registered with BMHS and IMHS so due to his problem he is now a lawn mower!  He suffers with chronic arthritis as a resuly of the stwisted stifle and sometimes is very stif as a result of this.  We use the Equissage mini pad on him reglaurly to keep the joints well lubricated, prevent his muscles stiffning up when he isnt as mobile as he would like to be and it also reduces any inflammtion he may have.  Of course it helps to keep him in good health also.

 DOVECOTE MAGGIE

16.1hh 6yr old Clydesdale cross.  My dream horse however at present she is being treated for possible OCD as the growth plates havent closed in her left knee and elbow.  Fingers crossed we can get to the bottom of this shortly.  She has been off work now for 6mths and in that time I have keep her muscles in good working order and helped to maintain good circulation by using the equissage back pad and hand unit daily.

 BRIERDENE LADYBIRD

Welsh Section A 7yr old Bay Mare.  Delivered by Santa on Christmas eve 2007.  Not sure if we should say is a little character or likes to keep you on your toes.  However her and Emily  her rider absolute love each other.  She came 3rd at all county shows we attended last year with my 4yr old daughter on in the leid rein classes and 1st - 3rd at all local shows.  She is a crib biter and windsucker so has muscle very well defined in the lower part of the neck.  If only we could turn her neck upside down it would be ideal!  However we use the equissage hand unit on her neck daily before and after exercise and it is helping to build the muscles up.  As she is an anxious character in general the Equissage pad used daily helps to bring down her stress levels and keep her in good condition/health.  Of course it helps her stride length, hock angles and trot speed which also comes in hany for the show ring!

 PRYSE AMBER

Dam of Pryse Picasso. 34inch skewbald mare. Stunning little horse.  Absoulte crack pot to ride and handle however more or less ran ild for 6yrs on the hills of whitley chapel.  If only she were 16hh.  She has a very underdeveloped neck for the show ring so we havent done anything with her.  However since having the equissage we have used it regularly on the neck to help build the muscle. She has the back pad on daily to help with her general well being. Loves to put on a show for anyone passing the field!

 CHRISTIE

15hh Cleveland bay cross approx 28ish.  This one has had a hard life.  She belonged to my neighbour and he was moving to yorkshire, as she wouldnt box and couldnt be ridden due low ringbone, highringbone, side bone and arthritis!  However she was very happy plodding around the field.  I feared that she would end up on the meat wagon so me being me took her in 5yrs ago , probably the best 5yrs she has had and is best friends with sherrie in the field where they exchange lifes stories!  She gets Equissaged daily to keep her circulation going, and is alot less stiff as a reslut of this.  Her and Sherrie have wintered out this year for the 1st year and its the best I have seen them both move on those winter mornings!
